for Globalstar USA and Caribbean subscribers while roaming around the
world using the Globalstar QUALCOMM GSP series of phones. For subscribers
using the Globalstar FAU-200 fixed phone calls can be placed from US/Caribbean
Home Service Area and Canada to any standard phone number in the world.

Subscribers traveling

Globalstar USA subscribers get expanded roaming in the Middle East.
We are pleased to announce that Globalstar USA subscribers can now roam
throughout the Middle East including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar
and Jordan. Additional coverage is also provided in Eastern Africa, including
Ethiopia, Somalia and Eritrea, as well as in the Red and Arabian Seas.
Calls from this new roaming area to the US are only $1.39/minute, fully
terminated-the lowest of any American based satellite phone, and frequently
less than a similar landline call.
Globalstar service connects military service personnel stationed abroad
with their friends and family at home.
Businesses and service organizations also rely on Globalstar to coordinate
aid efforts and allocate resources.
Coverage is provided by the Globalstar gateway in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia,
and provides Globalstar’s superior voice and data services in the
following regions:
