For the first time ever, a QUALCOMM Globalstar Fixed Phone can bring a dial tone to areas where traditional telephone services are not economically feasible. The Radio Antenna Unit (RAU) and Junction Box are mounted at a convenient outdoor location with a clear view of the sky and connect to a variety of available indoor telephone sets using standard telephone cable, thus providing satellite phone service from inside a building. Once installed, telephone sets connected to the fixed satellite phone system can be operated just like landline telephone sets.

QUALCOMM Globalstar Residential Solutions

The QUALCOMM Globalstar Fixed Satellite Phones enable remotely located residences to connect to the public telephone network through the Globalstar Communication System, using standard residential telephone equipment and wiring. Up to four standard telephone sets can be served by one Radio Antenna Unit (RAU) using one phone number.

QUALCOMM Globalstar Fixed Satellite Phones allow standard PBX, key systems, and single business phones to be connected to the public telephone network using the Globalstar system.

Installation Options
The Globalstar QUALCOMM GSP-2900 can be configured to provide a single line of service to as many as five standard telephone jacks, giving you convenient custom installation options. Or just plug in a standard cordless phone to have ultimate flexibility. Because the GSP-2900 phones generate a standard dial tone, you can use any off-the-shelf FCC
approved cordless phone, speakerphone, answering machine, internet router (with optional data kit), or analog PBX system.

Internet and e-mail access is available through any of the GSP-2900 phones with the optional data kit.
